  • FALL CARNIVAL SET FOR OCTOBER 26TH

    Erick High School will host the annual Fall Carnival on Friday, October 26th, in the old gym at the High School.  Classes will have several fun booths with prizes and goodies.  The 7th grade will have the mini-golf, pick Bob's nose, and will raffle a Bearcat quilt.  The 8th grade will do the baseball throw, punch-a-prize, and a perfect shot game.  Freshmen are doing the duck pond, ping pong toss, and a Fortnite competition.  Sophomores will have all kinds of delicious food available in the concession, along with the balloon pop and a raffle for a fire pit package.  The Juniors will have the Bingo, silent auction and a pie in the face contest.  Seniors are doing the always popular cake walk and the basketball game.

    Candidates for Carnival King and Queen are:  Freshmen - Kylie McIntyre and Eliah Melton, Sophomores - Emberlynn Carter and Andy Bolanos, Juniors - Melanie Cooley and Ben North, and Seniors - Carlee Dowty and Jaycob Rodgers.

    The Carnival will open at 6:00 p.m.  All booths will close at 8:45 to get ready for the crowning of the King and Queen at 9:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to come eat at the concession and enjoy an evening of fun and games.

  • ERICK FFA FAIR ENTRIES

    The Erick FFA Chapter had several entries in the Oklahoma State Fair and Tulsa State Fair.  The Chapter brought home numerous ribbons, and several Champion and Grand Champion Awards.  Congratulations!!



  • PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

    Erick Public Schools will have Parent-Teacher Conferences as follows:

    Erick Elementary - Tuesday, October 9th, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    Erick High School - Thursday, October 11th, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

    Elementary & High School - Friday, October 12th, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

    There is no school for students on Friday, October 12th.  October 15th through 19th is Fall Break.



  • RED RIBBON WEEK OCTOBER 29TH-NOVEMBER 2ND

    The Student Council is sponsoring Red Ribbon Week October 29th through November 2nd.  They will be giving out items to encourage students to be drug free that week.  Dress-up days are:

    Monday - Pajama Day
    Tuesday - Crazy Hat Day
    Wednesday - Costume Day
    Thursday - Twin Day
    Friday - School Spirit Day

    All clothing must be school dress code appropriate.



  • SEPTEMBER STUDENTS OF THE MONTH/PERFECT ATTENDANCE

    September Students of the Month at Erick Junior High are Robert White and Kylie McIntyre.  High School Students of the Month are Brieya Laster and Tanner Smith.  Kaden Miller received the $25.00 certificate sponsored by First Bank of Erick, for having perfect attendance and no tardies for the month of September.  Congratulations!!!

    Staten Strickland, an 8th grader at Erick High School, attended a Leadership Conference at Yale University this summer.  Staten was nominated by her teacher, Mrs. Amy Janz, to become an Ambassador Leader, and was chosen to attend the conference at Yale.  This honor was bestowed upon Staten based on her demonstration of outstanding scholastic merit, leadership potential, and exemplary citizenship.  Congratulations, Staten!!
